Managing Director & Executive ChairmanMr. Arun K. Chittilappilly is the Chairman and Managing Director of Wonderla Holidays Limited, India’s largest amusement park operator. A visionary entrepreneur, he has been instrumental in shaping the growth and strategy of Wonderla, from its inception to its current position as a trusted leader in family entertainment and leisure.
Arun holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Industrial Research Institute of Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia. Upon returning to India, he played a pivotal role in the operations of Veega Land (now Wonderla Kochi) before spearheading the development of Wonderla Bengaluru in 2003, which opened to the public in 2005 as one of India’s most advanced amusement parks.
Under his leadership, Wonderla has expanded with cutting-edge rides, immersive attractions, and integrated resorts, setting industry benchmarks in safety, sustainability, and guest experience. His responsibilities span engineering and design, marketing, communications, and financial strategy.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Arun is passionate about music, automobiles, reading, travel, and adventure sports. His vision continues to drive Wonderla’s expansion and innovation in the leisure and entertainment sector.
